Today, we had our first work day! Some of us painted the bedrooms at Touching Tiny Lives (an organization that helps babies facing severe malnutrition), and others helped build a preschool. While these tasks were pretty different, we learned a couple of similar lessons. One of which is that working takes time especially when resources are low! Here in Lesotho, certain supplies that many of us are used to are very uncommon, so we had to learn how to improvise. We needed to learn how to do stuff we haven't done before. It took a while at first, but we got the hang of it eventually. We also got to eat some rather tasty food!
